Ellen refused to film the final moments of her friends. Spared execution by African rebels thanks to government forces, she awaits repatriation and meets Paul, a powerfully built young man nicknamed Teddy Bear, who helps her forget her past wounds. He takes her to his lakeside ‘den’, an enchanted but short-lived interlude, for the habit does not make the monk, and Teddy Bear is not as gentle as he seems. The next of the alternate stories in this fascinating series orchestrated by Frank Giroud.
