Merlin sets Jack and Annie a new challenge: to uncover the secret of the great footballer Pelé. The pair land in Mexico City in 1970, in the middle of the World Cup final between Brazil and Italy! Struggling through packed crowds, they are helped by a young Mexican fan, Roberto, who gets them to the stadium just in time to witness Brazil’s victory. But when they try to reach Pelé to learn his secret, they lose him in the jubilant crowd. Part of the beloved Magic Tree House series.
